Great Lakes ChampionChip is owned and operated by Bill Fries and Steve Scheidt of Portage Michigan. Both Bill and Steve bring a great amount of expertise, in all areas, to your event. Bill continues to teach and coach as well as co-direct one of the finest cross country meets in the Midwest, the Portage Invitational (www.portageinvite.com) which includes 18 races, and over 6200 registered participants.

Steve brings a combination of high school coaching experience and a wealth of computer experience. He is the Network Manager of Portage Schools technology department. Along with providing race results, Steve can help you design a custom "results page" for the web as part of the service provided by GLCC.
